Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref 1019375 as a Publican's Licence (ordinary) - Theatre for CNOC NA GAOITHE COMHALTAS CULTURAL CENTRE at CNOC NA GAOITHE, CHAPEL STREET, TULLA in CO. CLARE with COMHALTAS CEOLTOIRI EIREANN as licensee.[1]

The Clare Champion reported in 2021 that Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann was redeveloping the old convent and primary-school building in Tulla into the Cnoc na Gaoithe cultural hub, and that Minister Heather Humphreys visited the centre during the Our Rural Future roadshow.[2] The Clare Champion reported in 2022 that Cnoc na Gaoithe was officially opened, and said the name translates as Windswept Hill and is associated with Bryan MacMahon's song Lament for Tommy Daly.[3]
