Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S3416 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for CAMDEN COURT HOTEL at 26/33 CAMDEN STREET UPPER in DUBLIN CITY with BRONDSWAY LIMITED as licensee.[1]
The Irish Times reported in June 2008 that Brondsway Ltd had applied to Dublin City Council for works at Camden Court Hotel, Camden Street Upper and Charlotte Way.[2]
The proposed development was to add two extra floors to the Camden Street and Charlotte Way elevations, bringing those elevations to seven storeys, and to add four extra floors to an internal courtyard block at the rear, bringing that block to 10 storeys.[2]
The Irish Times notice said the proposal included 122 bedrooms and two lifts.[2]
