Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref 1009141 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for CASTLEKNOCK GOLF CLUB at DISWELLSTOWN, CASTLEKNOCK in DUBLIN CITY with CGLF LIMITED as licensee.[1]
Irish Times reported in October 2014 that Castleknock Golf Club, close to Phoenix Park, had been sold by PwC receivers to Tio plc, an Irish regulated fund managed by Los Angeles-based Oaktree Capital Management.[2] The report said the clubhouse and 125-acre course sold for nearly 80 per cent over guide, with new owners believed to have paid close to EUR4.5m against a EUR2.5m-plus guide price.[2]
