Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S0195 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for CLONSKEAGH HOUSE at CLONSKEAGH ROAD, CLONSKEAGH in DUBLIN CITY with PFG CLONSKEAGH TAVERN LIMITED as licensee.[1]
Irish Times reported in 2018 that O'Sheas of Clonskeagh, also known as Clonskeagh House, faced a demolition proposal for a 39-room guesthouse less than two years after reopening.[2] The same report said Clonskeagh House had reopened in mid-2016 as a gastropub after acquisition by Next Generation Homes for EUR900,000 a year earlier.[2] Irish Times reported in 2021 that Ashtons, the landmark Clonskeagh pub beside the River Dodder, had been acquired by Press Up and would continue to trade under the Ashtons name.[3]
