Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S0164 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for MADIGAN'S at HORSE SHOW HOUSE, 34/36 AND PART OF, 32 MERRION ROAD in DUBLIN CITY with JAMES MADIGAN AND SONS as licensee.[1]

The Irish Times reported in 1999 that Horse Show House had been acquired by the Madigan Group in 1966 and occupied a one-third-acre site opposite the RDS on Merrion Road.[2]
