Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref N2300 as a Publican's Licence (ordinary) - Theatre for MILLBANK THEATRE at CHAPEL GREEN, MILLBANK, RUSH in CO. DUBLIN with RUSH DRAMATIC SOCIETY CO LIMITED as licensee.[1]

Irish Independent local coverage in 2009 reported that Rush Dramatic Society was continuing its production of The Playboy of the Western World at the Millbank Theatre, with related lectures by Dr PJ Mathews of UCD's Department of English, Film and Drama.[2] In a 2018 Irish Times profile of Rush, the paper wrote that the Millbank Theatre attracted consistent audiences for its productions.[3]
