Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref N0242 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for MYOS OF CASTLEKNOCK at (AND PREMISES ADJOINING THERETO), CASTLEKNOCK VILLAGE in DUBLIN CITY with SWANHEAVEY INNS LIMITED as licensee.[1]

Irish Times reported in 1998 that a Main Street, Castleknock newsagents was directly opposite Myo's bar.[2] Irish Times reported in 2006 that a Castleknock development site opposite Myo's bar sold for more than EUR9m and was described by DTZ Sherry FitzGerald as the last substantial development opportunity in the village.[3] The Herald, carried by Irish Independent, profiled Myos Castleknock in 2008 and described it as divided into bar and lounge areas with a beer garden.[4]
