NIAH records O'Donoghue's at 15 Suffolk Street as a regionally rated building with current use as public house, date range 1935-1945, and a description identifying it as built in 1940.[2]
The Irish Times reported that a closure order served on O'Donoghue's, Suffolk Street on 2008-11-04 was lifted on 2008-11-07 and served on San Benedetto Ltd.[3]
In 2019, the Irish Times reported that the High Court ruled receivers were entitled to an injunction requiring a publican to vacate O'Donoghue's in Suffolk Street, with a stay on condition rent was paid.[4]
