Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S3903 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for PYGMALION at UNITS 17A, 18,19A,19B AND 19C, POWERSCOURT TOWNHOUSE CENTRE, 59 SOUTH WILLIAM STREET in DUBLIN CITY with THE PYGMALION PUBLIC HOUSE LIMITED as licensee.[1]

Irish Independent described Pygmalion in 2009 as a new bar in the Powerscourt Centre on South William Street.[2] Irish Independent reported in 2014 that a High Court shareholder dispute involving Pygmalion, described as a bar, restaurant, and nightclub on South William Street, had been resolved.[3] Irish Times reported in 2022 that Pygmalion was one of four food businesses issued with May closure orders by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland after inspectors saw a live rodent and fresh droppings.[4]
