Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref 1020305 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for RADISSON BLU ROYAL HOTEL at GOLDEN LANE, CHANCERY LANE, AND GREAT SHIP STREET in DUBLIN CITY with LUXOR LEISURE LIMITED as licensee.[1]
Irish Times reported in 2021 that a man released early from mandatory hotel quarantine in error was required to return to the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin.[2] Irish Times reported in 2023 that Taylor Swift fans had bookings at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel on Golden Lane cancelled after the hotel said an error caused rooms to be sold at an incorrect rate.[3] Irish Independent reported in 2024 that Rhatigan Group extended the hotel in 2021 to a 254-bedroom property with spa and gym facilities, and that Dublin Royal Convention Centre opened on Ship Street Great in early 2023.[4]
