Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref N0123 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for THE BEAUMONT HOUSE at 1/3 SHANTALLA ROAD, BEAUMONT in DUBLIN CITY with BEAUMONT HOUSE LIMITED as licensee.[1] The Irish Independent reported in 2007 that publican Dermot Carew (owner of Beaumont House pub) gave evidence at the Mahon Tribunal, including about handing Bertie Ahern IR£16,500 in cash while Ahern was having a pint in the pub.[2]
