Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref 1009296 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for THE DEAN HOTEL at 32-34 HARCOURT STREET in DUBLIN CITY with HOLTEND LIMITED as licensee.[1]
Irish Independent reported in 2014 that The Dean Hotel on Harcourt Street was a EUR5.5 million project opening that weekend, developed by Press Up Entertainment Group, and set over 52 bedrooms.[2] The same report said the hotel included Sophie's rooftop bar and restaurant, a ground-floor rotisserie, and a first-floor function room called The Blue Room.[2] Irish Times reported in 2024 that the Dean Hotel on Harcourt Street had been sold as part of a portfolio of eight hotels earlier that year, and that the hotel company swung to a EUR2.3 million operating loss before the sale.[3]
