Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref 1020014 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for THE DEAN TOWNHOUSE at 36 HARCOURT STREET, AND THE REAR OF 37 & 38 HARCOURT STREET, DUBLIN in DUBLIN CITY with HOLTEND LIMITED as licensee.[1]
Irish Times reported in 2023 that The Dean Dublin had opened the Dean Townhouse as a new extension to the Harcourt Street hotel.[2] The report said a Georgian building had been transformed to add 49 bedrooms, bringing The Dean Dublin to 100 bedrooms, and that the Dean Townhouse opened with the Townhouse Bar, an outdoor courtyard, and the Marshall Room event space.[2]
