Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref S0052 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for THE MONT CLARE HOTEL at 13/14 CLARE STREET AND, 1/4 LOWER MERRION STREET in DUBLIN CITY with PERSIAN PROPERTIES as licensee.[1]

Irish Times coverage in 2017 of Noel O'Callaghan's hotel interests said that, in addition to the adjacent Alexander and Davenport properties in Dublin, he also owned the nearby Mont Clare hotel, the Stephen's Green hotel, the Elliot hotel in Gibraltar and a US hotel in Annapolis, Maryland.[2]
