Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref N2057 as a Publican's Licence (Ordinary) Hotel - BF - 1902 Act (Public Bar) for THE MORRISON HOTEL at 11,12,13 AND 14 GREAT STRAND STREET AND, 13-18 LOWER ORMOND QUAY AND 7-12 SWIFTS ROW in DUBLIN CITY with SWIFT ROW LIMITED as licensee.[1]
Irish Times reported in 2023 that Dublin City Council granted Centauro Investments permission for an extension to the five-star Morrison Hotel on Ormond Quay Lower, adding 16 bedrooms and bringing the hotel to 161 rooms.[2] The same report said Elena Baturina bought the Morrison from Nama in 2012 for EUR22 million and that Zetland Capital bought it in 2021 in a deal reported as worth more than EUR65 million.[2] Irish Times reported in 2018 that the Morrison Hotel on Ormond Quay had refreshed its Quay 14 bar and Morrison Grill restaurant in a EUR250,000 redesign.[3]
