In a planning appeal for retention permission at The Summit Inn, Thormanby Road, Howth (Planning Authority ref F23A/0106; An Coimisiun Pleanala ref PL06F.317282), An Coimisiun Pleanala refused permission on 2024-05-29 for partial change of use of car parking to an outdoor seating area with a kitchen and servery building, and for a bar and servery building to the front of the main building.[2]
