Revenue's renewed-liquor-licence register lists licence ref N0245 as a Publican's Licence (7-Day Ordinary) for WRENS NEST at ASTAGOB, CHAPELIZOD in DUBLIN CITY with STELLA O'ROURKE AND MARIA O'ROURKE as licensee.[1] The Irish Times described The Wren's Nest in the Strawberry Beds as an important traditional-music pub and said sessions were regular there in 2025.[2] The Irish Times also reported that The Wren's Nest appears on the front of At Home with The Dubliners, an LP by The Dubliners.[2] NIAH records The Wren's Nest on Lower Road, Astagob as a regional-rated building with a date range of 1700-1760.[3]
