About this site

Pubhub.ie is an Irish pub directory operated as part of a small portfolio of specialist Irish websites. By using this site you agree to these terms.

Data accuracy

The directory is built from open data sources — principally the Revenue Commissioners' publican licence register, OpenStreetMap, the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage, and Wikidata. We take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is current or complete. Pub licences lapse, addresses change, and closures occur faster than any dataset can track.

If you find an error, please let us know or use the claim your pub form. We will review and correct it.

No endorsement

Listing on Pubhub.ie does not constitute an endorsement of any pub by us. We list pubs because they hold or have held a publican's licence — not because we recommend them. We do not accept payment for editorial listing or positioning.

User submissions

When you submit content through our forms — closure stories, pub corrections, trad session schedules — you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You have the right to submit it (you own any photos, or have permission from the photographer)
  • You grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish and reproduce the content on Pubhub.ie and in derivative works

We reserve the right to edit submissions for length, clarity, or accuracy before publishing, and to decline submissions that do not meet our editorial standards.

Intellectual property

The editorial text on this site is our own work. The data underlying the directory is drawn from open-licensed sources and is used in accordance with their respective licences (Revenue Commissioners CC-BY 4.0, OpenStreetMap ODbL, NIAH CC-BY 4.0, Wikidata CC0). See about for full attribution.

Limitation of liability

This site is provided "as is". We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the directory, reliance on any information contained here, or inability to access the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the last revision. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
