The Notice Board
Every parish hall has one. Ours collects what the public-record turns up about Ireland's licensed premises — court verdicts, regulatory actions, industrial decisions, cultural notes — sourced from named outlets, paraphrased for length, and always open to right-of-reply from the operator.
How the board works
Each entry must come from a credible Irish outlet — courts.ie, FSAI/HSA registers, RTÉ, the Irish Times, Independent.ie, the Examiner, Journal.ie, or named regional papers. Reddit and forum mentions are signals, not sources. Every conviction, charge, civil case, and regulatory action carries a status badge that updates if the case changes — an acquittal updates the original entry, it doesn't delete it.
Pub operators can claim their listing and submit a moderated right-of-reply note that displays alongside the original entry. Spent convictions auto-archive after the statutory period. GDPR takedown requests are honoured where the law applies.
